Archimedes Alliance celebrates World Intellectual Property Day, day dedicated to recognizing the crucial role intellectual property rights play in unleashing innovation while securing rights to inventors, artists, and businesses. The Archimedes Alliance organizes an annual open-letter addressed to the Secretary-General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, Daren Tang, that highlights the support for intellectual property rights from 115 think tanks from 46 different countries. The Archimedes Alliance held a policy breakfast briefing in the European parliament in Brussels and an evening reception with Archimedes Alliance members, activists, and policymakers to celebrate the tole of intellectual property.
