Smart Regulations for Innovation – In an era of technological breakthroughs how can economies stay competitive
In an era defined by advanced innovations, autonomous AI, new technologies and services are rapidly transforming people everyday life and global economy. This raises the questions: Are the regulatory frameworks designed for older technologies still adequate, or do they create unintended consequences?
Innovators either enter the market before the regulatory framework is set or they participate in the policy process. Is the latter an option with today’s regulatory processes? What can we learn from past examples? Could the new OECD agile regulation be a solution for the future?
This panel, featuring experts in politics, trade, and markets, will explore the intersection of cutting-edge innovations and current regulatory frameworks, with a focus on the competitiveness of the European Union.
